The Nurse Auditor-Revenue Integrity maintains the integrity of the Revenue Integrity program and the Methodist Health System Charge Master to ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations, Managed Care contractual agreements and the applicable policies of Methodist Health Systems.  

Your Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Requires Registered Nurse with at least 3 years’ experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Operations in a hospital setting, Multi-hospital setting preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• EPIC certification preferred  

Your Job Responsibilities:
• Reviews Regulatory and Compliance communications, CMS transmittals, National Coverage Decisions (NCD) and Local Coverage Decisions (LCD).
• Acts as a liaison between multiple departments to help resolve billing edits that prevent claims from billing timely. Monitoring and assistance with work queues to improve EPIC workflow process. Provides education to the departments on charge capture best practices and communicates quarterly/yearly regulatory changes as needed.
• Assists in the coordination of Insurance audits. Provides detailed analysis of current denial trends and provides education on documentation improvement to prevent future denials.

• PC skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required
• Financial management - applies tools and processes to successfully manage accounts receivable to budget
• Project Management - assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately
• Start-Up Operations - understands complexities and needs to start-up, build and maintain a new business
