The Platform Services Software Engineering Manager will be instrumental in the growth and development of the Software Development organization. We’re looking for a hands-on leader to build and direct a team of talented engineers in the design, development and support of Genesis’ library of enterprise interface services. You will be responsible for the people and processes necessary to ensure high quality on-time delivery of technical solutions enabling our continued success in the marketplace.


As our Software Development Manager, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team of Software and Quality Engineers to identify, design, implement and support scalable enterprise level interface solutions.
  • Own the implementation of frameworks and patterns developed to efficiently create, maintain and support the suite of Azure Cloud based software products.
  • Be a hands-on team leader with deep technical skills in areas of Agile software development and engineer management.
  • Help define, implement and optimize a standard set of efficient software development practices that flex, pivot and scale with ease.
  • Lead the team’s execution and on-time delivery of high-quality interface solutions.
  • Become a trusted partner with your peers and customers for interface related activities.
  • Continually improve performance and accuracy of our software products to support the dynamic demands of our business.
  • Remain current in software development, people management and industry trends.
  • Manage the vendor relationships within your purview



  • BS/MS in CS with 8 years of professional work experience in a modern cloud-based software development organization.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional people management experience leading Agile software development teams.
  • Demonstratable working knowledge of Agile software development in cloud computing environments with a focus on Azure, secure coding practices, scaling, performance, CI/CD pipelines and post release support.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with modern programming languages such as C#, Java and Python.
  • Professional experience building and supporting an API library or SDK highly desirable.
  • Ability to think both strategically and analytically while working across departments.
  • Data and process driven decision maker with the ability to define, document and implement corporate and team-based KPIs, policies and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with effective relationship management skills.
  • Ability to communicate throughout the organization including Executive leadership.
