Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the engineer in this role is ensuring security, availability and performance of our systems and databases deployed both in Cloud and On-Prem.  The engineer will serve as the administrator and SME for compute, storage and database technologies deployed and to be deployed across the enterprise. The engineer will also be the Primary Global Administrator for Office365 tenancies owned by the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing and administering Servers, Databases, Active Directory and Office 365 environments. In addition, the engineer will drive infrastructure integration projects involving consolidation of infrastructures of various acquired companies to a shared IT service environment. Some of the priority projects include consolidation and migration of various office365 tenants to a common tenant, deploying standardized cybersecurity practices, network standardization and unified communication platform.
Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.
  • Minimum: 10 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree, or 5 years of relevant work experience and a master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration with technology as a core component preferred.
  • Administration of Office365 Hybrid AD Infrastructure for multiple tenancies.
  • SQL Database administration skills – Database deployments / Performance tuning / backup & recovery / SQL Reporting / Data Analytics & Reporting tools like Power BI & Dashboards
  • Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and client operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, such as Windows OS, cloud platforms like AD/O365 and Azure, HP hardware common desktop productivity software solutions.  Experience with MS Dynamics, Great Plains, Key2Act preferred
  • Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Systems knowledge:  Great Plains, MS Dynamics 2018 or higher, Wennsoft/Key2Act, Horizon, MobileTech, SQL, experience with RPA a plus.
Expert level skills administering Office365 and Azure Active Directory environment in hybrid cloud settings managing Multi-Forest / Multi-Domain AD Environments, Administering AD Connect, GPO, MFA, DNS and related technologies for multiple Azure AD Tenants.
3 to 5 years of experience in administering data center technologies – VMware  Infrastructure in AWS, One mor more virtualization technologies – Vmware / HyperV, Load Balancers.
Managing Backups, Restores, Orchestrating and Administering Disaster Recovery Plans.
Extensive knowledge in executing Tenant to Tenant migrations and consolidation of Office 365 environments.
Extensive experience administering Email gateway protection and other BEC / VEC tools.
Experience in managing device management platforms like SCCM, Intune or other MDM Tools.
Demonstrate strong customer service focus, analytical, problem solving and teamwork abilities.
Experience in deploying and supporting endpoint security and asset management software
Requires the ability to respond to information system problems that occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours including evenings and weekends.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to explain technical issues or concerns to non-technical cross functional team members.
Ability to work in a team or individual setting.
