Occupational Therapist, Rehabilitation Department
MyMichigan Medical Center-Sault (formerly know as War Memorial) located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for our Rehabilitation Department.

Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Co-Director(s) of Rehabilitation, the Occupational Therapist treats injured, ill, or disabled individuals through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. They help these patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. The Occupational Therapist provides services including assessment, treatment planning, and treatment implementation. The Occupational Therapist completes all documentation and required communication for various treatment settings including inpatient, long term care, outpatient, home health, community mental health, school based and all other contractual settings.
Qualifications/Education:- Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a school approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Registered in the State of Michigan as an Occupational Therapist
- Must have the ability to work independently and organize several projects.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must have the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30lbs
