LOCATION: Denver, Colorado
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly-Non-exempt
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: District Manager
PAY RANGE: $19-$21/hour

POSITION SUMMARY
Greenbox Self Storage is looking for a Rockstar Facility Manager. Our growing self storage business needs a motivated operator who is up to the challenge of managing our self storage property at our South Santa Fe location.

A Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our state of the art and environmentally conscious self storage facilities.

WHAT THE TEAM NEEDS FROM YOU
  • Work independently on a property, working both indoors and outside managing daily office tasks, retail sales, and maintaining the facility. You Manage the Property!
  • Willingness to work regular Saturdays
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability when operating our self storage facilities
  • Provide consistent, seamless, and high-quality guest experiences
  • Resolve customer issues/concerns in a timely, effective, and highly professional manner
  • Become an expert in self-storage by renting storage spaces and managing the leasing process
  • Understand key facility differentiators, create value, and optimize every conversion opportunity
  • Escalate property or customer issues for immediate resolution
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs
  • Take ownership of your store’s retail business
  • Utilize our Point of Sales system (POS) to take payments and manage customer accounts
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections; confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are ready to rent
  • Manage, audit, balance cash drawer; prepare and make daily deposits
  • Pursue collections and managing auctions
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
  • 2+ years of customer service/sales experience
  • 1+ years of self storage facility management a plus
  • Proficient in Office365 suite; tech savvy is a plus
  • Experience in Cash Handling is required
  • Strong accountability combined with strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork
  • Promote a team-first environment that values guest service
  • Problem solving aptitude and willingness to “figure it out”
  • Creative and resourceful attitude
  • Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • A flexible schedule - We are open every day except for Sunday’s and major holidays
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours/day;
  • Ability to work outdoors during all seasons
  • Able to bend, climb ladders and lift up to 40 pounds
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

Pay Range
$19.00   Hourly to $21.00   Hourly
