Oversees projects to ensure they stay within budget and are completed on time. Conduct research and analyze data to aid the overall goals of the project by tracking the budget, forecasting financial needs, monitoring and reporting outcome data, tracking compliance, and ad hoc reporting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Including, but not limited to:)
  • Prepare cost reporting
  • Cash flow development and reporting
  • Monitor commitments, incurred and actual costs
  • Perform cost variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain project schedule
  • Support estimate and budget development
  • Manage databases and generate reports
  • Provide timely and reliable cost and performance measurements.
  • Develop and maintain budget and cost reports, earned value analyses, and resource planning and allocation
  • Provide invoice support including review of monthly invoices and all required invoice backup; track invoice payments; monitor release of subcontractor payments per contract terms
  • Support Project Managers in management of subcontracts
  • Assist with project documentation and preparation of proposals and pricing profiles
  • Perform ad-hoc project analysis and support

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, or construction management preferred.  Relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of fundamental principles, concepts, and techniques in project cost accounting and project financial controls
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
  • Aptitude for accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to achieve goals
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
  • Capacity for organizational and planning skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; Advanced MS Excel skills; MS Project.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years related experience
  • Knowledge of procurement, contracts and construction management
  • Field and construction planning experience
