The gig in short:
We are looking for a passionate certified Data Analyst to join our rapidly growing technology department. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. They will have the opportunity and be enticed to work with several types of data, including, product, marketing, and customer journey data.
The right individual will be someone that can bring technical expertise to ensure the quality and accuracy of the data, then process, design, and present it in ways to help leadership, business, and the overall organization make better decisions. If this sounds like you, read on!

What we want you to do:- 80% Data Analytics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (Executive, VP, Director, Manager Levels), SRE DevSecOps, and financial analysts to deliver high quality analytics solutions
- Determine best method to gather, model, manipulate and present data
- Interpret and translate results from complex analysis into understandable and relevant insights
- Perform data analytics for a variety of business problems and opportunities
- Apply a wide variety of database applications and analytical tools, including T-SQL, Pivots, VLookups, and Tableau, Nice to have experience (Google Cloud Big Query, Snowflake)
- Evaluate, process, analyze and interpret statistical data
- Help with business/department data understanding summary on a weekly basis
- Analyze data systems, automating information retrieval and preparing reports that show managers how this data could be applied to their business model
- 20% Management of Data
- Collaborate with other financial analysts, and business partners to explore new sources of data
- Cleanse, validate and test data
- Standardize and maintain data sources used by the team
- Gather, model and manipulate existing data using best practice methodologies
- Look at existing dashboard to analyze data and predict trends
- Work with software engineers on proper database design and structure
- Work with product and development team to create data driven decision
- Perform statistical analysis of data
- Move toward department self-service empowerment of dashboards and reporting
What we are looking for and what you have to have:- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Quantitative field or 4 years of data, analytics-oriented role additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Proficient in SQL, Tableau features, Data Optimization, and a keen eye for design.
- Identify key metrics, business levers, establish cause & effect, analysis, and build exec-facing dashboards to track the progress of the business and its highest priority BI data driven initiatives
- Optional but highly desired: Tableau Certified Data Analyst
- Strong data ETL pipeline development and data visualization experience.
- Experience in creating Logical and Physical Data model
- Good experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
- A self-driven, innovative and research oriented individual that develops solutions tailored to addressing specific problems/ needs
- Ability to identify the client / market needs and propose impactful solutions
- Knowledge and a very good understanding of SDLC, data modeling and data management
- Should be adapt in agile execution methodologies
- Participates in proof of concept executions, architecture discussions and validates complex technical solution when required
- Experience in financial analysis and modeling a plus
- Coding skills in R or Python a plus

- Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills.
