Description
We are working with a fast-growing food company at the forefront of transforming the way leafy greens are grown and distributed in the U.S. This company currently operates multiple areas of production in the Northeast and Midwest and is in the process building new hubs and continuously improving existing growing facilities.

The VP of Sales Strategy & Planning will lead company strategy in customer business planning, category management, pricing and shopper marketing. This role will drive the profitable revenue growth by aligning the sales strategy with tactical customer plans.

Location: must be within commutable distance to White Plains, NY (must on average come into the office once or twice a week


Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive annual customer business planning process for sales
  • Utilize syndicated data to develop recommendations on product and pricing strategy across all customers
  • Develop a future channel strategy for business/company expansion including retail, club and foodservice
  • Work in partnership with the customer sales team to optimize trade investment for both sales growth and margin enhancement
  • Work in partnership with the marketing and innovation teams on providing market & competitive insights for future brand strategy
  • Coach, develop and manage a team that includes; Director of Insights & Category Management, Revenue Growth Manager and Analysts

Required Skills/Qualifications:  
  • All candidates should possess a minimum of a four-year degree, MBA preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in marketing/sales within CPG; food preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in revenue growth management functions including; trade and pricing analysis, category management and sales planning
  • Deep understanding of the P&L and levers to drive value creation
  • Proven track record of brand/business value creation
  • Strong team building and development skills are preferred
