What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a National Account Manager who will travel nationwide to promote our commitment to growing our business on all fronts. The incumbent will sell our full range of specialty wire and cable, including related wire and cable products. The position will focus developing and maintaining long-term relationships with electrical distribution executives and senior management personnel to facilitate future sales growth. The successful candidate thrives in a rapid Outside Sales environment and plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer and revenue growth objectives. Candidates must be energetic and comfortable building business relationships in-person and at all levels of an organization, with emphasis on Senior Management and Executives.
Primary Responsibilities:- Develop, implement and assess national business strategy that will enhance OmniCable’s presence to a preferred status with the national account
- Identify the best sales platforms (both nationally and regionally) needed to increase awareness and drive results
- Develop strong corporate and national relationships with customers including but not limited to Executives, VPs, RVPs, Directors and Regional Managers that will drive increased market share
- Communicate customer needs on a national level and coordinate resources as needed
- Communicate results both internally and externally
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager on the development of strategy to facilitate the growth of sales
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Extensive industry and/or outside sales experience strongly preferred
- Ability to travel nationally up to 50%
- Demonstrated track record of sales performance
- Demonstrated ability to build authentic relationships
- Demonstrated presentation skills including excellent verbal, written and listening abilities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle with a satisfactory driving record
- Previous experience with salesforce.com or similar CRM
