Job Summary:
WhiteCo is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to expand our People Services department and join the ever-growing industry of telecommunications. We are looking for a smart, high-energy, motivated individual. This person will perform our full-cycle recruiting, job marketing, and be actively involved in our talent retention plan.

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Identify current and future hiring needs
  • Lead full cycle recruitment efforts for office and field construction positions
  • Effectively source, screen, and extend job offers to field construction candidates
  • Effectively source and interview candidates with the Hiring Manager for office positions
  • Create or update job descriptions as needed, partnering with the Hiring Manager to define position requirements
  • Identify new and creative avenues for recruiting by collaborating with the People Services Director
  • Advertise job openings online, through print, and through industry network connections
  • Maximize the use of social media tools and job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, etc.)
  • Seek out local events, job fairs, conferences, schools, and networking events to promote WhiteCo
  • Conduct regular check-ins with new hires and communicate feedback with the Field Superintendent
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Desired Skills:
  • Work experience in sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates​​
  • Prior experience recruiting for construction related roles: specifically, telecommunications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
  • Superior time-management skills with the ability to balance a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and competing demands
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Deadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills: make assessments and provide solutions to problems
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or relevant field
  • Bilingual, a plus
