Gudenkauf, a Congruex Company 
Gudenkauf is a diversified telecommunications, utility and systems integration solution provider with the personnel, equipment, expertise, and experience to deliver even in the toughest and most complicated conditions. We offer a variety of services from outside plant construction, fiber optic splicing and testing, utility locating, intelligent transportation systems, gas line cathodic protection, and emergency restoration services. Job Summary:
The project manager generates, plans, directs and coordinates the day to day operation, usually through communication with managers and foremen.  Develops a process for completion of ongoing and potential projects.  Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.  

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Work with foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with all jobs/projects, ex: calling in locates 
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters.
  • Lead and maintain a safe work environment
  • Represent company in project meetings, provide progress of work completed within project timeline.
  • Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer.
  • Maintain supplies and materials to complete each project.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff and clients.
  • Ensure accuracy of time reporting
  • Processing of invoices
  • Other Duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A License highly preferred
  • Previous experience working from blueprints, and specifications
  • Experience in conduit, fiber, manhole and hand hole placement
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry both aerial and underground construction
  • Heavy Equipment Operation (backhoe, mini excavator, etc.)
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience with locates along the Ohio and West Virginia River. (Preferred)

Employment Status:
Non -exempt (hourly)
