National Grid Renewables is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for the Summer of 2023. The intern will an undergraduate candidate, with consideration given to MBA candidates. The Internship is for an individual that is looking for a career experience in the renewables industry and is hungry to make a difference. 
  • Job Description:
    • Assist the IT team with the data architecture project.
    • Help gather requirements and document needs of the different user groups.
    • Validate data sets compiled for reporting.
    • Work with user groups with requests in modifications of current reports
    • Create companion guides for reporting
    • Work with the Development team on specific data clean up and creation of new reports
    • Support reporting efforts for executive leadership
  • Requirements:
    • Student in University or recently graduated student in statistics, math, computer science, business, or related field
    • Interest in renewable energy
    • Detailed oriented
    • Strong written and speaking skills
    • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects
    • Knowledge in the following tools:
      • Microsoft 365 products; Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint
      • SQL
      • Power BI/Tableau or similar reporting tool
  • Nice to have:
    • R
    • Python
Other Important Information:
  • This is a paid internship
  • Expected hours are about 40/week during Summer
