About the Position:
National Grid Renewables is seeking a NERC Compliance Intern for the summer of 2023. The intern will preferably be an MBA candidate with Engineering and/or Legal focus. The NERC Compliance Internship is for an individual that is looking for a career experience in the renewables industry and is hungry to make a difference...as part of a great team Compliance. This opportunity may be remote.
What you will be doing:
The intern will focus on one or two of the following areas:
- Internal NERC Compliance Program:
- Review and update existing procedures
- Draft new procedures as needed
- Assist generation sites with day-to-day NERC Compliance and documentation activities
- Assist with the preparation of required periodic submittals to various regulators
- Other duties as assigned
- Internal Audit
- Assist the NERC Compliance Officer with the mapping of evidence per NERC standards and requirements to develop a “Live” auditable document.
- Conduct research to gather internal nerc evidence and documentation to meet all standards and requirements.

- A Bachelor’s degree(s)
- MBA is not required but preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Teams; Sharepoint)

Other Important Information:- This is a paid internship
- Expected hours are about 40/week
- Internal NERC Compliance Program:
