  • Client Service: Day-to-day face/primary contact for clients/prospects | Primary advisor for $500k in client revenue  
  • Business Development: 5% net new AUM annually and leader on the activities that drive growth
  • Follow- Up/To-Dos: Timely completion and coordination of all investment/planning actions internally with proper inputs communicated to team members
  • Leadership: Willingness and passion to learn and develop into the leader of Strategic’s Institutional division.
  • Referrals: Consistently identifies and generates client referrals / identifies wallet share opportunities
  • Investment and Plan Execution: Identifies opportunities and makes value added recommendations for client plans and investments | Acts as a check/resource for planning/Investment decisions, actions
  • Client Feedback: Solid, few if any issues
  • Compliance: no issues
  • Operational: Proficient use of the firm's client facing technology, performance reporting, and CRM systems
  • Institutional Relationship Management: Working knowledge of and passion to learn investment portfolio management and institutional client issues (IPS Development, Performance Reporting, etc.)
  • Investments/Market: Working knowledge of securities markets, global economics, portfolio construction, market conditions and news events, and their implications for investors
  • Industry: Understanding of key trends in institutional investment management, best practices, legislative changes, industry competitors and industry technology
  • Communication: Solid Professional Selling Skills (PSS) | Solid written, verbal and presentation skills | Comfortable speaking in front of audiences | Ability to serve as a Strategic ambassador at community events and networking opportunities | Demonstrated ability to listen, ask good questions, resolve conflicts, identify opportunities, educate, and coach clients
  • Administrative: Ability to coordinate key tasks with clients, teammates, and professional partners outside of Strategic
  • Fundamentals: solid problem solving, EOS and technology skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, accounting, finance, economics, education, or related experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Preferred Credential: CFA or CIMA within 3 years of onboarding
    • Additional Considerations: CFP, ESQ, MBA, PHD, MS, CPA
  • Continuously exhibits personal integrity and professional initiative
  • Reliable, follows through on commitments, does not shrink from new challenges
  • Possesses a passion to help new and existing clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with various financial planning, CRM, portfolio management and document management software; previous experience with Salesforce and/or Orion preferred
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask.
