Medical Assistants Responsibilities:
- Review the schedule for the following day for assigned provider and give reviewed schedule to Clinical Lead
- Set up rooms first thing in the morning
- Room and perform complete intake on all patients in assigned location for a given day
- Implement appropriate treatment protocols
- Minor wound care and suture/ staple removal
- DME Fitting
- Prepare specimens for lab testing and pick up
- Thoroughly clean and stock exam rooms after each visit
- Scan documents related to patient’s visit i.e. health hx form, prescriptions, test results, outside records
- Process and prepare add-on History and Physicals
- Check the following week’s schedule for all office surgery/ PRP injection appointments
- Complete disability paperwork for providers
- Process all faxes, mail, voicemails, phone messages, tasks should be checked and completed within 24 hours of receiving
- Scanning is done daily.
- Process all messages/ tasks related to clinic care
- Pay Range
- $19.00 Hourly to $21.00 Hourly
