Role:
This individual would specialize in the creation and preparation of all company proposals. In this capacity, they would manage the proposal process end-to-end, ensuring the proposal timeliness and accuracy from production to award.
Responsibilities:- Becomes intimately familiar with the company’s proposal process and works with the Capture Manager to make any necessary tailoring with respect to the size and scope of the opportunity.
- Ensures proposal is compliant with all RFP requirements in all proposal sections.
- Leads the preparation and delivery of all proposal sections, plans, and specifications.
- Integrates planning and engineering efforts between the technical staff and the proposal team, to include our proposal production staff.
- Maintains and manages the master proposal schedule.
- Plans all proposal submissions and required proposal support activities.
- Issues the writer’s package to proposal team.
- Leads development of proposal outline, storyboard, and content working through the Volume Leads.
- Maintains the tempo for and support of proposal color reviews.
- Ensures approval of all corporate commitment statements.
- Coordinates the approval of any proposed exceptions or deviations from what is requested in the solicitation.
- Prepares status reports and briefings for management.
- Coordinates all internal and decision-maker facing clarification needed as required to ensure that proposals are competitive and accurate.
- Regularly briefs the team on new opportunities and updates on current proposal submissions.
- Prepares oral presentations, briefing slides, and shares presentation reviews for internal feedback.
- Documents all debriefs and lessons learned from submitted proposals.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing proposals submitted to U.S. Federal agencies.
• Proven record of proposal development and contract wins in Federal IT services.
• Ability to collaborate with and lead a small proposal team.
• Thorough understanding of the Government proposal process.
• Familiarity with using Shipleys proposal process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to quality.
