Job Title: Senior Technical Analyst

Primary Location:   Boulder, CO
Compensation: $65,000 to $105,000 (annual)
We will determine salary based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to any other employees in the same or similar role.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue data and helping to minimize revenue leakage.  While experience is helpful, the most important determinants of success for this role are the ability to learn quickly, the aptitude to apply technology to identify issues and a collaborative mindset to solve problems.  This is a great role for someone who wants to grow quickly at our company.

The primary responsibilities will be to support finance for a company that is experiencing rapid growth amidst unprecedented industry demand for increased wireless and broadband connectivity.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering actionable and insightful data analytics that will drive margin improvement across the company.  This role is a tremendous opportunity to develop a well-rounded financial and technical skill set while gaining experience in the technology and digital infrastructure industry.  

Essential Functions (Including, but not limited to):

• Review and analyze billing and operational data to identify and address discrepancies or errors
• Help build the next generation of margin assurance platforms and tools
• Develop and implement revenue assurance processes and controls to minimize revenue loss
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g. sales, billing, collections) to resolve revenue-related issues
• Monitor revenue performance and identify trends or patterns that may indicate issues
• Prepare revenue reports for management review and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in revenue assurance

Required Skills & Qualifications:
General

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, IT, or a related role
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL)
• The ability to program in at least one programming language of your choice
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in database design and analysis
• Ability to program in at least one language
• Ability to create analytics solutions in MS Power BI is a plus
