Job Summary:
The EHR Implementation Training Specialist reports to the Manager of Implementations and is a remote position. This position may require significant travel (averaging 2 – 3 days per week during a two-week period).
The primary role of the EHR Implementation Training Specialist, is to provide education and support to clinical operations, with all aspects of implementation of our Healogics databases and applications. This individual will interact directly with program directors, providers, clinicians and other staff members and serve as the main point of contact for onsite and post go live support. The individual in this role will also assist in the execution phase of various projects forthcoming as well as assist existing customers with multiple levels of database and application support.

All Healogics employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all Healogics policies, Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:  
  • Acknowledges, appropriately greets and assists every customer in a courteous, efficient and timely manner
  • Conducts training to ensure proficiency of staff, including center physicians
  • Provides Go Live and ongoing support during and after implementation
  • Travels to and from field locations
  • Effectively collects and synthesizes data and information from multiple sources
  • Troubleshoots any routine problems that staff cannot fix on their own, such as a problems with the printer or a computer
  • Becomes familiar with available help resources; stays updated on technology changes or problems
  • Performs other duties as required

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required with at least five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with healthcare software preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel (required)
  • Ability to build or edit training materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong training and presentation skills with the ability to develop training / educational material and deliver in a classroom setting or a one-on-one environment
  • Ability to examine and resolve complex issues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team
