IT Support Specialist
We are working with a company in the indoor farming CPG industry that is looking for an IT Support Specialist for their dog-friendly NY office just steps away from the Metro North Hudson line and easily commutable from the tri-state region. This is a great opportunity with an expanding company!
Location: Hybrid to Irvington, NY
Job Responsibilities:- Answer level 1 troubleshooting questions
- Delegate out-of-scope requests to IT management
- Resolve basic troubleshooting including but not limited to, hardware issues, password resets, and SharePoint / OneDrive Issues
- Laptop and iPad set up and distribution
- Diagnoses IT hardware issues (In-Person/Slack/Phone)
- Inventory management for IT equipment
- Farm Support Center presence/security and technology for office
- Monitor ticket system and prioritize/delegate requests
- Facilitate IT portion of new hire orientation
- Headquarters IT meeting support
- May be required to travel to Greenhouses for extra deployment support if needed
Required Skills/Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or related tech field
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support in a client-facing role
- CompTIA A+ Certification
- Experience with IT Updates, Group Assignments, and Password Resets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, and Teams)
- Basic Microsoft Azure Active Directory User Management
- Microsoft SharePoint / OneDrive
- Microsoft Intune / Endpoint manager
- Knowledge/experience with Slack
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to learn RMM & Ticketing Software
- Basic experience with A/V systems for FSC Support
- JAMF Cloud MDM for Apple devices
