IT Support Specialist                            

We are working with a company in the indoor farming CPG industry that is looking for an IT Support Specialist for their dog-friendly NY office just steps away from the Metro North Hudson line and easily commutable from the tri-state region. This is a great opportunity with an expanding company!

Location: Hybrid to Irvington, NY

Job Responsibilities:
  • Answer level 1 troubleshooting questions
  • Delegate out-of-scope requests to IT management
  • Resolve basic troubleshooting including but not limited to, hardware issues, password resets, and SharePoint / OneDrive Issues
  • Laptop and iPad set up and distribution
  • Diagnoses IT hardware issues (In-Person/Slack/Phone)
  • Inventory management for IT equipment
  • Farm Support Center presence/security and technology for office
  • Monitor ticket system and prioritize/delegate requests
  • Facilitate IT portion of new hire orientation
  • Headquarters IT meeting support
  • May be required to travel to Greenhouses for extra deployment support if needed

Required Skills/Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or related tech field
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support in a client-facing role
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Experience with IT Updates, Group Assignments, and Password Resets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook, and Teams)
  • Basic Microsoft Azure Active Directory User Management
  • Microsoft SharePoint / OneDrive
  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint manager
  • Knowledge/experience with Slack
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to learn RMM & Ticketing Software
  • Basic experience with A/V systems for FSC Support
  • JAMF Cloud MDM for Apple devices
