POSITION DESCRIPTION
National Grid Renewables is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage financial oversight for projects under development and construction. This person will be responsible for project-based financial oversight, operations-based reporting, contract management and compliance. In addition, the Analyst will work with other key departments throughout the development and construction phase of the growing operating portfolio

DUTIES
  • Leads project forecast reviews, and utilizes historical and trending data to validate forecast
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor, providing support for cost and revenue related decisions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to pursue stretch goals and mitigate financial risk.
  • Drives continuous improvement throughout the organization, and is a advocate for positive change
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and cash flow projections.
  • Manage future contingency and escalation plans.
  • Monitor and champion project budgets, and contract change orders
  • Subject matter expert on federal, state, and local tax requirements and exemptions
  • Strategic review of development and commercial practices and provide input on key project contracts.
  • Displays first-rate customer service skills, willing to support with a positive attitude when/where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent financial analysis software user, highly skilled in excel and BI platforms
  • Strong numeric skills
  • Excellent financial/data analysis experience
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 1-3 Years of related experience
