Production Supervisor
We are working on a Production Supervisor opportunity north of Harrisburg with a great food producer. This is a second shift supervisory role in a growing sector of the CPG industry. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of their PA greenhouse production area. Please apply if interested!
Location: Outside of Harrisburg, PA
Job Responsibilities:- Supervise greenhouse operations and ensure high performance
- Plan & execute the production schedule, providing supervisor and direction to production leads. Allocate resources to ensure minimum downtime and completion of scheduled activities. Prioritize and manage workload to ensure assignments address goals and objectives.
- Accountable for KPI’s tied to labor expenses & operating expenses
- Guide employees through kaizen activities to improve system efficiencies
- Accountable for maintaining a orderly, neat, safe greenhouse operation
- Must assist with onboarding process of new hires, conduct interviews, and ensure proper training
- Work closely with peers to establish a good working relationship
Required Skills/Qualifications:- 3+ years’ experience working in food production is preferred
- MUST have 2+ years of experience in a lead/supervisory/management role in manufacturing/production
- Proficiency with MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must be able to work second shift and a Tuesday through Saturday schedule
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is preferred but not required
- Must have humility and integrity and be a strong team player
- Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills and methods are essential
