We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Renewable Energy Planner who possesses extensive knowledge and experience in renewable energy project planning & development, with a specific emphasis on the utilization of Primavera software. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving the successful development and implementation of renewable energy projects, while ensuring efficient utilization of resources, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules using Primavera software, considering key project milestones, critical path analysis, resource allocation, and dependencies. Regularly update and monitor project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting and timely completion.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify resource requirements and allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of equipment, personnel, and materials. Continuously assess and adjust resource plans to accommodate project needs and resolve any potential conflicts.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, contractors, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and community representatives. Ensure clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables among all parties involved.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project planning and execution. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate and manage identified risks. Proactively monitor project progress, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations, permits, and licensing requirements for renewable energy projects. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Collaborate with finance and project management teams to develop project budgets and cost estimates. Monitor project expenses and track against the allocated budget, taking appropriate actions to control costs and prevent budget overruns.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare accurate and timely progress reports, project documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Provide project status updates, highlighting key achievements, milestones, risks, and issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Renewable’s Energy construction scheduling
  • Proficiency in using Primavera software to develop and manage project schedules
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex scheduling problems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction methods and processes
