Job Summary: The Inventory Specialist & Yard Specialist will oversee shipping, receiving, and distributing processes for the Gudenkauf operating unit’s products and supplies. Their main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance. Will work directly with all the project managers on material ordering and storage and keeping the laydown yard and warehouse clean and organized.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
Oversee all shipping and receiving of job material.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and laydown yard.
Keep inventory of all materials
Work with D365 (financial software) and Sitetracker (job tracking software)
Work with project managers on ordering
Deliver or arrange deliveries to their desired locations.
Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Maintain consistent and sufficient stock levels to meet clients’ demands.
Anticipate and react to shortages and changes in inventory.
Analyze data and statistics to continually improve processes.
Use software to track inventory characteristics, types, and movement.
Audit processes and inventory to track performance.
Oversee and control inventory coming in and out of the warehouse through software.
Work with suppliers to purchase goods and build good working relationships.
Find ways to reduce costs and optimize control procedures.
Report findings, reports, and data to upper management
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong math and analytical skills
Be able to accurately track inventory and create reports.
Have a working knowledge of warehouse management software systems.
Have knowledge of forecasting and data analysis

Previous experience within the construction and/or telecommunications industry.
Have 2 - 3years of related managerial experience and/or inventory control experience.

First Aid & CPR Certified
OHSAA 30
