We are a premier beverage distributor of beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks and our business is growing. We are seeking a Territory Supervisor to manage our metro New York sales team. In this position you would train sales employees, implement sales strategies, and ensure that sales objectives for the assigned territory are met. An ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise strong leadership skills. The successful applicant should also be detail oriented, self-driven, and deadline sensitive.
Territory Supervisor Responsibilities:- Traveling throughout territory to lead, motivate, and train company sales representatives.
- Continually meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets and objectives.
- Developing strong rapport with key accounts.
- Maintaining solid working relationships with customers by seeing that their needs are met and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensuring that sales efforts are aligned with company goals and brand integrity.
- Ability to consistently prospect for new sources of business and have the drive to make cold calls in order to establish and build an account base.
- Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine where there are opportunities.
- Evaluating performance of sales representatives based on their ability or inability to achieve sales quotas.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working as a territory sales manager or in beverage route sales.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
