Job Title: Director of Data Supply

Location: Remote, but must reside in the United States within Eastern Standard Time (EST). 

Job Type: Full Time 

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) 

Job Summary 

We're looking for an experienced Director of Data Supply to lead overall data strategy and management for the company. This includes expanding and managing data supply, leading contract negotiations, owning vendor relationships, working with our product manager and sales teams on data needs, working with our head of data science to evaluate data quality, leading data governance, and other data operational activities. 

Responsibilities 

● Develop and execute the company's data strategy 
● Expand and manage our data supply 
● Lead contract negotiations and reviews for data supply 
● Work with the product manager and sales team on data needs 
● Work with the head of data science to evaluate data quality 
● Work closely with the chief innovation officer on forward-thinking initiatives
● Develop a data supply pipeline to ensure proper coverage and manage risk
● Lead data governance and the data governance board 
● Develop and implement data policies and procedures 
● Train and mentor data team members 
● Represent the company in data-related matters 

Qualifications 

● Master's degree in business, finance, statistics, or a related field
● 15+ years of experience in a data-related role 
● Strong understanding of data management and analysis 
● Experience with data sourcing and procurement 
● Experience with data governance and compliance 
● Excellent communication and presentation skills 
● Experience with cloud-based data management and services strongly preferred
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
