Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote within the United States in Eastern Standard Time (EST)

JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our growing technology team. The SRE will be responsible for the reliability, performance, and scalability of our software systems. This includes monitoring systems, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing automation to improve efficiency. The SRE will work closely with development teams to ensure that our systems are built to be reliable and scalable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure availability and performance

● Identify, investigate, and resolve issues in a timely manner

● Document and communicate resolutions

● Implement automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual work

● Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools

● Work with development teams to integrate automation into their workflows

● Work with development teams to design and implement reliable and scalable systems

● Provide technical expertise and guidance

● Review and approve designs

● Participate in testing and deployment

● Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and best practices in SRE

REQUIREMENTS

● Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

● 3+ years of experience in SRE or a related role

● Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems

● Experience with cloud computing platforms, especially GCP

● Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

● Experience with automation tools such as Terraform

● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Strong analytical and technical skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
