Works as a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner in the Transitions of Care Office inside CFV Fayetteville Family
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesEducation and Training:
Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy required.
PGY1 pharmacy residency preferred.
PGY2 in ambulatory care pharmacy preferred or equivalent ambulatory care experience.
Board Certification preferred, either pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or ambulatory care (BCACP).
License with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy required.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy practice experience required.
Experience in precepting pharmacy students and/or residents preferred.
Knowledge, skills, abilities required:
Must be an effective communicator and independent thinker. Demonstrates ability to manage computer systems. Needs to possess problem solving skills and natural ability to manage staff. Demonstrates strong background in clinical knowledge and can effectively communicate with patients. Possesses the ability to communicate effectively to providers in an interdisciplinary setting. Constantly able to evolve and flourish as the world of ambulatory care pharmacy necessitates.
Physical requirements:
Ability to freely move throughout pharmacy, clinics, and surrounding community to interact with staff and perform duties. Ability to hear conversations with ease and read orders correctly. Ability to effectively communicate and move light objects.
