Job Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs in a timely and safe manner for assigned equipment and facilities including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. This position will perform facilities-related work across multiple facilities in Tulsa and some travel may be involved to other company locations.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair

Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs

Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed

Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician (Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures)

Performs routine maintenance on building systems

Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities

Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance

Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production operations

Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machines

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust machines

Document all machine malfunctions to track machine efficiency

Perform routine visual inspections of machinery and equipment

Detect faulty operations, defective material and report findings or solutions to supervisor

Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.

Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed

Replace burned out light bulbs on exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc.

Follow safety policy and procedures to include, but not limited to, lock out-tag-out, hot work permit and confined spaces

Operate forklift whenever necessary

May need to operate scissor lift when maintenance or repairs are needed to be performed at heights

Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers
-
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
-
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Related experience preferred
-
On-the-job training offered
Physical Requirements:
-
Prolonged periods standing and walking
-
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
