We are currently looking for a Corporate Controller, you will be a key contributor and leader for the financial operations of our rapidly growing company. You will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise, improvement of financial processes, and development of a high-performing accounting team. This position is highly visible in the organization and the ideal candidate is entrepreneurial in spirit and both hands-on and strategic.

- Provide leadership and strategic insight on accounting and compliance, while staying current on new accounting standards and regulatory matters
- Build and manage a world-class corporate accounting team responsible for all general ledger, consolidation, technical accounting, tax, cash management and revenue recognition activities
- Partnering with various business stakeholders and understanding impact of new business strategic initiatives by being the technical expert on accounting matters across the business including communication / clarification of new laws and regulations related to GAAP, Tax, and Statutory reporting
- Significant experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842 preferred
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on a specific accounting policy, providing business support on their interpretation and application
- Establish, implement, manage, and monitor critical accounting and reporting policies, processes, and associated performance metrics
- Work with external tax providers to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate income, payroll, and other applicable taxes and licenses
- Serve as the Company's expert on accounting matters, partnering with other departments (sales, marketing, and engineering) on accounting-related questions and initiatives
- Own preparation of quarterly financial statements and notes in compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
- Be the primary liaison for Company's audit relationships to ensure compliance with business, regulatory and reporting requirements
- Work with FP&A to ensure coordination of timely publishing of metrics, forecasts, and budgets
- Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows
- BS/BA in Accounting/Finance and or MBA, CPA credentials would be a plus
- Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a recurring revenue, SaaS or payments industry environment
- At least 3 years of accounting experience at a leadership, or management level, preferably in a software or technology-based environment
- Expert knowledge of general Ledger, international consolidations, month-end close process, and GAAP
- Strong, analytical communication (verbal and written), project management, and business partnering skills
- Ability to drive deployment of system and process improvements
- An eye towards continual process improvement and efficiency
- Big 6 audit experience would be a plus
- Experience with fast-paced environments and US public companies preferred
