Summary:
Performs implementation, regular problem solving, maintenance and support for agile software development to modernize systems. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Creates innovative solutions through iterative approach such as proof of concept (PoC), minimal viable product (MVP), and scaling to a fully operational product. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members. Bachelors degree and 5+ years directly related experience or Masters degree and 3+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles. Concentrates on using both back-end and front-end languages to build complete solutions.

You Have:
​​​​​​• 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
• 5+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization 
• Experience developing SOAP or RESTful APIs, serverless functions and associated libraries, classes and data sources.
• Experience with NodeJS, Bash, DevOps, CI/CD tools and technologies
• Experience developing enterprise applications with Cloud technologies such as AWS SDK and working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions and associated services
• Expertise in Python programming language and related libraries
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases and caching technologies
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
• Master’s degree
