Description

The Challenge:

Plans, staffs, budgets, and manages internal information technology projects or programs. Typically has budget or financial accountability for managed projects, and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments. Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments, and contributes to the development of new ideas and principles. Solves a uniquely complex problems, working under consultative direction. Often speaks for the organization to internal/external customers and works on long-range programs and objectives. Provides advice to the organization in area of expertise. Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning. Typically requires: Bachelor's (advanced degree preferred); 8-10+ years of related professional experience.

Perform project management support functions for a document and media exploitation software development program. Assist with preparation and facilitation of program meetings, project scheduling, and briefings to senior leaders. Analyze, coordinate, and review project documentation, briefings, and schedules pertaining to development, deployment, and sustainment. Work with developmental and operational teams to develop detailed schedules and assist with keeping these schedules current. Develop or modify project schedules and the integration of multiple project schedules into an overall master program schedule, maintain the overall master program schedule, and link project schedules with the overarching program. Support communications, planning, and tracking of project activities. Make recommendations to government customers for project management, priorities, and alternatives. Prepare meeting materials, conduct quality checks of briefings, and support meetings by coordinating with meeting organizers, authoring meeting notes, and tracking action items. Assist with the preparation of technical documentation; edit and format technical documents, standard operating procedures, and policy documents. Research, write, edit, or revise print documentation of limited scope and technical complexity. Ensure adherence to specifications and participate in the client’s review of technical documents. Assist other writers or work as a member of a project team on assignments. Provide guidance and direction in the areas of quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.

You Have:

-5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-2 years of experience with supporting an intelligence community (IC) client and operations -Experience with Microsoft Office, including Project
-Ability to edit and perform quality control for reports, presentations, and equivalent documents -Ability to be detail–oriented, flexible, proactive, multi–task, adapt quickly to changing client priorities, and respond to ad hoc requests
-Ability to work independently as a broad logical thinker and planner
-Ability to analyze progress and data to make recommendations for improvement
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Nice to Have:

-Knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles
-Ability to communicate and coordinate with a diverse team in a fast–paced environment

Clearance:
