National Grid Renewables is seeking an IT Intern to join our growing IT Operations Team. This role will provide the technical knowledge necessary to drive forward our organization's cloud-based infrastructure initiatives as we align our processes and technologies.

Role
  • Assist Business Intelligence tam with corporate digital initiatives
  • Work with Full Stack Developer with coding of internal applications
  • Assist with code review and quality control/ quality assurance
  • Help gather requirements and documentation of processes
  • Validate data sets for reporting
  • Create Power BI reports for business users
     
Background and Skills
  • Working towards Bachelor's or Master’s degree in one of the following:
    • Management/Computer Information Systems (MIS/CIS)
    • Computer/Electrical Engineering
    • Computer Science
    • Statistics
    • or related fields
  • Coding Languages: Python, C#, C++, HTML, SQL
  • Data visualization and analytics experience
  • Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving
  • Strong Communication skills
