The Facilities Technician provides support services to Lone Star Family Health Center.
Essential job functions:- Maintain preventative maintenance using work order system.
- Maintains the facilities work order tracking, assignment, and completion.
- Assists in maintaining facility records and permits.
- Contacts janitorial contractor when personnel and services are needed.
- Contacts security contractor when security staff is needed.
- Provides prompt customer service for walk in and phone call requests.
- Maintain all facilities (HVAC, plumbing, painting, etc.).
- Receive, deliver, and keep inventory up to correct par levels (linens, lab coats, etc.).
- Feed fish.
- Receive and deliver packages (medical and dental supplies, janitorial and breakroom supplies, computer equipment, etc.).
- Meet with contractors and vendors as needed on Facilities projects.
- Serve as a back-up for bank deposits and pharmacy deliveries.
- Serve as support on all departmental projects (Multi-purpose and classroom events, clinic moves, Community Outreach events, delivery and pick up of clinical documentation for clinical dept.).
- Oversee all annual inspections regarding Life Safety equipment, Fire Safety equipment, elevator, and generator.
- Deliver supplies to all clinics.
- Distribution of keys to employees.
Required:
High School diploma or GED.
Valid Texas Driver’s License.
