Role Overview:

As the Scrum Master at a Data and Analytics Consulting Firm, you'll be a key player in instilling an agile mindset across teams and the entire company. Your role is crucial in building trust and fostering psychological safety within the organization.

Day to Day:

• Facilitate scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, etc.)
• Manage resolution of blockers to ensure timely completion of sprint deliverables
• Collaborate with in-house and external Scrum Teams, addressing impediments and managing dependencies
• Provide day-to-day coaching for agile adoption among team members
• Conduct periodic maturity assessments for identifying best practices and growth opportunities
• Support program planning activities, including integrated planning workshops and program increment planning sessions
• Facilitate the definition and implementation of team-level working agreements for efficient software delivery
• Identify and create metrics (e.g., burnups, cumulative flows, velocity charts) to measure and report on team performance and continuous improvement
• Support implementation of improvement areas identified in team retrospectives
• Ensure team work adheres to steps and procedures outlined in the definition of done (DoD) framework
• Act as a servant leader for multiple teams and stakeholders
• Assist in various areas of the department and company as needed
