Medix Infusion provides personalized home and in suite infusion therapy services for patients with chronic or acute conditions. We provide medical infusion therapies, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable and infusion treatments.

Medix Infusion is hiring for a full time Clinical Liaison for the Corpus Christi area. The Clinical Liaison will work closely with physicians, health care facilities, and case management professionals, to coordinate patient care transition from a hospital or healthcare facility. In addition to providing excellent care and education to the patients, they will also be responsible for overseeing existing accounts and fostering new referral opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING

• Licensed (LVN/RN) with at least 2 years of experience in the field or bachelor’s degree in business related field.
• Prior experience with customer relations within Sales and Marketing is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILTIES

• Provide patient education teaching sessions.
• Proactively initiate discharge planning with case management to ensure seamless transition home.
• Actively communicate, educate, and plan with referring facilities.
• Seek out new referral sources on a daily/weekly basis.
• Partner with Regional Sales Manager to execute account business growth plan, discuss opportunities, assess progress, and provide feedback.
• Develop relationships and call on referral sources in person with appropriate hospital protocol.
• Demonstrate ability to manage territory and accounts.
• Meet/Exceed monthly goals set forth by Sales Manager.
• Conduct assessment of patients selected by the hospital for home infusion care.
• Complete and maintain all required reports.
• Help collect any necessary documentation needed in the field.
