Position Summary:
As Deputy Director of Nonprofit Program Operations, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the programmatic activities of our nonprofit organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and successful implementation of the Family Violence Intervention, Clinical and Representative Payee Departments. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the organization's overall success in making a positive impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for program execution, growth, and expansion.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish program objectives and performance metrics.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging needs and trends related to the organization's mission.
  • Curriculum Development/Updating

Program Management and Oversight:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple programs, ensuring their effective execution.
  • Identify and implement new processes, as appropriate.
  • Monitor program budgets, track expenses, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Establish and maintain program policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead a team of program managers and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to managers and Executive Director.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of program staff.


Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partner organizations, funders, and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with external partners to leverage resources, establish partnerships, and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and public events to promote its mission and programs.

Program Evaluation and Reporting:
  • Complete grant reports, to include private foundation and government (VOCA and VAWA) reporting.
  • Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to measure program outcomes and impact.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to demonstrate program effectiveness and progress towards goals.
  • Use evaluation findings to inform program improvements and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Nonprofit administration or similar field.
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in program management and operations, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit organizations and their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and drive organizational growth.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex programmatic issues.
  • Proficiency in project management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Range
$66,000.00   Annually to $72,000.00   Annually
