  1. Strategic Marketing and Brand Leadership - Orchestrate a comprehensive marketing strategy and oversee the Hedgineer brand's growth, using our podcast as a platform to engage with the community, and positioning Hedgineer as the indispensable technology ally for hedge funds.
  2. Content and Digital Communications - Direct the production of insightful content in collaboration with our Creative Video Director, managing a range of materials from compelling case studies to educational videos that elucidate the intersection of engineering, technology, and the asset management industry, bolstered by AI-driven automation for content and client presentations.
  3. Event and Experience Management - Curate impactful promotional events, including webinars and developer conferences with hands-on workshops that teach the application of software and AI in improving risk management, research, and operational efficiency within asset management firms.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Performance Analysis - Foster synergies across product, sales, and technology divisions to amplify marketing campaigns, and meticulously evaluate campaign outcomes to continually refine our market approach and content strategies.
  5. Innovation and Market Intelligence - Harness market insights and client feedback, leveraging AI to tailor marketing efforts and solutions that resonate with and address the specific challenges faced by our clients.
  6. Leadership and Community Engagement - Lead a dynamic marketing team, nurturing creativity and a performance-centric ethos, while engaging with industry stakeholders to reinforce Hedgineer's reputation as a thought leader and preferred partner in hedge fund technology.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
  1. Proven Marketing Strategy Experience: Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies within the financial technology sector, with a strong track record of growing a brand’s presence and market share.
  2. Content Leadership: Experience managing a content team and working closely with creative directors to produce industry-leading educational and promotional materials.
  3. Event Management Expertise: A history of organizing successful industry events, from webinars to hands-on developer conferences, with a focus on software and AI in financial services.
  4. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Comfortable working in a cross-functional role that requires close collaboration with engineering, product, and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with product capabilities and sales strategies.
  5. Buy-Side Industry Insight: Direct experience in the buy-side industry, ideally within a hedge fund, with a deep understanding of the ecosystem, client needs, and the competitive landscape.
  6. Versatile Skill Set: The ability to wear multiple hats, from leading teams to hands-on campaign analysis, adjusting quickly to changing priorities and new challenges.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong stakeholder management skills, able to engage with executives, industry leaders, and clients to build relationships and articulate the Hedgineer value proposition.
  8. AI and Tech Savviness: Familiarity with AI tools and a technical mindset, capable of understanding and discussing product integrations and innovations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
