Agrana Fruit US, Inc., a global leader in the production of fruit preparations for the dairy industry, is seeking a Cost Analyst to perform various cost accounting job activities associated with the cost of inventory; to acquire, store, transport raw materials and the subsequent costs to convert raw materials to finished goods.
Cost Analyst Job Responsibilities:- Perform daily, weekly and month end close activities related to cost and inventory accounting
- Prepare financial analysis related to manufacturing costs, inventory and expense details for decision making support
- Prepare various reporting, reconciliations, journal entries and analyses accurately and timely
- Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation utilizing activity rates in SAP.
- Lead and manage block stock and inventory obsolescence processes.
- Lead all aspects of inventory valuation, physical inventories and annual audit of material valuation
- Responsible for all cost center absorption valuation and reporting; Labor & Overhead analysis
- Support annual forecasting and budgeting processes
- Develop policies and procedures; including system requirements and internal controls
- Develop and lead cross functional integration of Cost elements into Finance
Cost Analyst Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- SAP Experience Preferred
- 2-4 years of job experience in cost accounting
- High Level of Curiosity; problem solving skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and details
- Very Strong excel; financial modeling and analytical techniques
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
