Role Summary:
The MRP Production Analyst is responsible for actioning the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process, supplying production orders to third party manufacturing partners, the accurate and timely creation of Production Bills of Material (PBOMs) and associated Master Data. The position is responsible for confirming appropriate stock levels of manufacturing components and finished goods’ inventories in a cost-effective manner. S/he is also responsible for managing asset delivery from the studios, obtaining quotes for special packaging, and to bid out custom product assembly. The position must follow manufacturing priorities, satisfy customers order requirements on a timely basis, and also contribute to maximizing sales objectives


The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000/annually

Essential Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Create purchase orders and properly schedule the orders to support capacity planning
  • Proactively liaise with studios’ Brand Marketing teams, vendors, partners, and third parties to accurately order appropriate components and build finished goods inventory
  • Validate demand and evaluate reworkable items and/or excess material requirements
  • Perform stock transfers and recommend inventory adjustments as required
  • Track delivery and approval of packaging assets, disc art and disc images from the studios and third-party partners
  • Maintain reports and tracking spreadsheets, as required by the department
  • Provide priorities and direction to third party support teams to manage workload
  • Advise and communicate with third party vendors, order management, and logistics to ensure the timely delivery of products at our customers’ locations
  • Manage the creation of component master data required for title activation
  • Handle the creation and approval of PBOMs, and maintain material master in SAP as necessary
  • Bid out component items and custom assembly
  • Manage assembly audit letters, ‘white sample’ and First article processes and Ad-Hoc requests as needed
  • Occasionally support other team members/studio partners for meeting or project back-up

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience
  • ERP Systems (SAP) background a plus
  • Prior experience in inventory/supply chain planning and execution preferred
  • Experience in distribution, freight and logistics a plus
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and shipping/receiving processes

  • Proficient in Office 365 including Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
