Location: Cincinnati, OH (CVG Airport area)
Description:
Under the direction of the PVS Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the day‐to‐day management of company activities in support of delivering on time, on budget, and error free products and wiring harnesses at our Cincinnati Airport (CVG), Erlanger, Kentucky location. Position requires cohesive coordination and communication with Scheduling personnel, Leads, Quality, Engineering and other department personnel to ensure that activities are aligned with the overall project plan for each product produced. The Production Supervisor must be able to lead by example and ensure the department and its employees maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, cleanliness, schedule and
profitability.
Primary Responsibilities (The standard duties include but are not limited to):- Supervises and supports the Production Lead(s), Production Technicians(s), and any other assigned personnel.
- Ensures all assigned personnel, as appropriate, achieve departmental and individual expectations.
- Monitors the organizational climate to insure a productive, modern, collaborative, and motivating environment by working with the Management Team to establish and implement management systems and principals that inspire a high level of individual, team and corporate excellence.
- Provides oversight and counsel on financial matters to analyze and lower costs to improve business results without compromise to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborates with peers and operating managers to maximize financial performance and provide feedback and advice to the Management team concerning financial implications of various projects.
- Implements goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for production activities.
- Strives to meet or exceed goals.
- Recommends selection of staff; trains staff in work procedures; administers discipline as required.
- Responds to and resolves Customer and staff inquiries and complaints in the most expeditious method possible.
- Inspects staff work and ensures quality and conformance to specifications set by the FAA, ISO and the company.
- Prepares a variety of written correspondence and periodic and special reports regarding work
performed. - Ensures that assigned personnel follow all quality, safety and security procedures as identified in the L2 manual system.
- Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the company by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
- Proactively works across all departments to ensure that functional objectives are met for production, procurement, quality control, logistics and administrative functions.
- Ensures notification of senior management personnel in event of accident, incident, or irregular operation as required by current Company manuals and Company policy.
- Performs other duties as may be required
- Ability to work in a fast‐paced, deadline‐sensitive environment.
- Strong financial acumen; prior experience with budgets and other financial statements required.
- Must be able to demonstrate team leadership skills; ability to lead teams in a matrix environment.
- Strong customer interface experience is required.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks within a group environment.
- Ability to accept direction and additional responsibilities from one or more sources.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and related software.
- Proven ability to manage independent projects and meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
- Convey a positive and professional attitude towards staff members, clients and vendors.
- Punctuality expected and overtime hours as necessary.
- Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner.
- Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.

- Strong time‐management and organizational skills.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language,
- Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program.
- Must be legally able to work in the USA and supply required supporting documentation.
- At least 10 years verifiable experience as a Production Supervisor or equivalent with an established organization.
- An understanding of Manufacturing Engineering Documentation such as Assembly Orders, Electrical Schematics and Structures Drawings.
- 5 years hands‐on experience within the aviation industry in a technical field highly desired.
Please note that initial training for certain positions may take place at our Dripping Springs, Texas location, and could last between four to six weeks, depending on the role and the candidate's qualifications and experience.
