Location: Cincinnati, OH (CVG Airport area) 

Description:

Under the direction of the COO, the Human Resources Generalist will have a passion for developing and delivering best in class human resource care for our team members and help to recruit and retain top‐tier talent to support the organization's goals and objectives while ensuring that L2 is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Duties include speaking with department heads, employees, benefit providers and executive personnel to determine support needs, implementing HR programs into company procedures and reviewing data from previous HR programs to determine their success in helping employees succeed within the company.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Provide written and verbal employment verifications when requested.
  • Maintain applications, resumes database, and background database.
  • Complete new hire paperwork, new hire orientations, follow up with Executive Administrator to ensure all on‐boarding activities are completed prior to new hire start date.
  • Maintain compliance in all areas of human resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with college and university placement offices as needed to support recruitment and corporate intern programs.
  • Read and understand federal and state policy to include, but not limited to FLSA, FMLA, ADA/ADAA, ERISA, Patriot Act, I‐9 regulation, etc.
  • Maintain electronic document retention of HR policies, forms, and documents.
  • Maintain companywide job descriptions.
  • Provide administrative support for the Human Resources team.
  • Provide timely assistance to employees regarding benefit and human resource questions and issues.
  • Supports employee discipline, improvement and work harmonization events and programs.
  • Maintain the delivery of communications (written and verbal) for employee and management dissemination on various human resources topics to include, but not limited to, open enrollment, wellness activities, compliance requirements, employee relations, etc.
  • Performs benefits administration including updating broker with employee information and status and assists in communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Work with entire management team to enhance the work environment and company culture

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years Human Resources Generalist experience; including recent experience as an HR Coordinator or HR generalist.
  • SHRM‐CP or SPHR Certification
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required:

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks within a group environment.
  • Ability to accept direction and additional responsibilities from one or more sources.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of computers and related software.

  • Punctuality expected and overtime hours as necessary.
  • Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating and tactful manner.
  • Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and cross‐functionally.
  • Strong time‐management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must be able to travel infrequently to support different company locations and attend training events.
  • Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program. 
  • Must be legally able to work in the USA and supply required supporting documentation. 
Please note that initial training for certain positions may take place at our Dripping Springs, Texas location, and could last between four to six weeks, depending on the role and the candidate's qualifications and experience.
