V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Senior IV&V Analyst with Medicaid project experience. This includes a strong understanding of CMS Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA), CMS certification protocols for Medicaid Enterprise Certification Lifecycle (MECL) and Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT) guidance and strategies to assist our client in achieving final certification for the on-going operations and maintenance of their certified modules.
This position is part of a project team focused on providing independent validation and verification, technical expertise, systems analysis, quality assurance testing and business analysis that ensures Medicaid systems (including critical system interfaces, system business rules, requirements, system design, and reporting), are functioning in conformance with Medicaid requirements and within acceptable guidelines. The team will be responsible for assessing various aspects of the project’s health, reporting their findings, and making sound recommendations to address project risks and issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):- Support independent validation and verification (IV&V) reviews and reporting
- Support compliance effort, analyzing requirements, assessing deliverables, communicating findings to client and CMS
- Interact with team members for preparation of progress report, submission of deliverables, and action items
- Identify potential risks and issues to project success • Create and maintain document templates
- Facilitate meetings
- Develop and present client communications, both written and verbal
EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum environments is highly desired
- PMI certification a plus
- Analytical skills to understand project’s scope and approach
- Ability to work well independently and in team settings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fast learner in the environment of complex processes and complex interdependent systems
- Must be comfortable working under pressure, prioritizing and balancing competing tasks
- Bachelors' degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, and 4 to 8 years of professional experience
- Familiarity with IT industry standards, such as: IEEE 1012 – 2004 (revised IEEE 1012 – 2016/Cor 1-2017) Software Verification and Validation; IEEE 12207-2008 (revised IEEE 12207-2017 Standard for Information Technology – Software Life Cycle Processes; IEEE 730-2002 (revised IEEE 730-2014 Standard for software quality assurance plans; and IEEE 29148-2011 requirements specifications.
- Professional experience in a Computer Science discipline or previous IT experience highly desired
- Software development background a plus
- Must be capable of passing a Maryland state background investigation
