Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN – All Shifts 

V-Tech Solutions, Inc. is actively sourcing for Emergency Department Registered Nurses to join our growing team. In support of our client, the ideal candidate will rapidly assess and stabilize patients with urgent or life-threatening medical conditions in the emergency department, including initial triage, administering immediate care, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with Physicians to develop treatment plans. The RN will possess not only clinical expertise but also strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and their families. 

Rapid Patient Assessment & Triage: Quickly assess incoming patients, determine priority levels, and initiate appropriate interventions based on the severity of their conditions. 

Acute Care Management: Provide timely emergency care, including life-saving procedures, stabilization of critical patients, and administration of medications in accordance with established protocols. 

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring clear and effective communication during high-stress situations. 

Procedure Assistance & Equipment Operation: Assist in and perform various emergency procedures, operate specialized medical equipment, and manage IV therapy and wound care as needed. 

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patient care, assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with legal, ethical, and hospital standards. 

Patient & Family Support: Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during emergency situations, ensuring they understand the care process and next steps. 

Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while continuously monitoring the work environment for potential hazards. 

Requirements: 

Valid DC RN License  

BLS, ACLS, and PALS required 

2 years FT in Acute Care Setting 

TNCC within first year of employment  

Associate’s degree in nursing, required/Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred
