V-Tech Solutions, Inc. (“V-Tech”) is committed to training the next generation of District of Columbia healthcare professionals through hands-on, competency-based learning. Our focus is on practical skills, real-world application, and high-quality instruction to prepare students for careers in healthcare.

We are seeking a Nursing Instructor to help develop and teach a District of Columbia Board of Nursing-approved Nursing Assistant Certification program. This position is 100% in-person, requiring both classroom and lab instruction. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in curriculum development, student training, and implementing innovative teaching methods to ensure graduates are well-prepared for certification through the D.C. Board of Nursing.

Key Responsibilities

· Curriculum Development: Collaborate on creating and refining the Nursing Assistant Certification curriculum, aligning with D.C. Board of Nursing requirements.

· In-Person Instruction: Teach classroom and hands-on lab sessions in an engaging, student-centered environment.

· Clinical and Skills Training: Provide practical demonstrations, supervise skill-building exercises, and prepare students for real-world patient care scenarios.

· Classroom & Lab Management: Maintain an organized and interactive learning environment, including managing equipment and supplies.

· Student Evaluation: Assess student performance through in-class participation, lab skills demonstrations, and clinical evaluations.

· Compliance & Standards: Adhere to Holt Health Academy policies and D.C. Board of Nursing guidelines to maintain instructional quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

· Registered Nurse (RN) with supervisory experience

· Minimum 5 years of nursing experience

· At least 1 year of experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill (within the past 5 years)

· Must be willing to assist with curriculum development for this new program

· Completion of "Train the Trainer" (16-hour Principles of Adult Education) course or 2 years of teaching experience

· Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for in-person teaching and mentoring
