Dietitian (Full-Time) – Washington, DC

About the Role 

V-Tech is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for diverse patient populations. This role ensures that all dietary care aligns with the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized meal plans. 

• Provide nutrition education to patients and healthcare teams. 

• Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary plans as necessary. 

• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records. 

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). 
   

• Licensed by the District of Columbia Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board.1+ years of hospital experience (preferred). 

Skills & Competencies 

• Effective communication (verbal & written) 

• Strong interpersonal skills 

• Ability to maintain confidentiality 

• Adaptability to multiple and changing priorities 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and nutrient analysis software
