Our ideal candidate will provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.  

Required Responsibilities: 

  • Provide safe and competent nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to facility policies, standards, and philosophy. 

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs. 

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patient responses. 

  • Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. 

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes. 

  • Advocate for patients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. 

  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans. 

  • Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Valid DC RN license. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred. 

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and strongly preferred Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:  

The position may involve extended periods of standing or sitting, the use of standard office or clinical equipment, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and potential local travel. Work settings may vary from office-based to hospital or community environments depending on the role.
