Salary Range: $45,189.62 - $58,000.00

Shift Differential: $0.75/hr - $2.00/hr, depending on shift and location

Bonus: Exempt employees are eligible for a bonus in accordance with Accupac’s Bonus Plan

What You’ll Do:
-
Perform in-process, routine, and non-routine chemical testing of raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods using approved procedures
-
Conduct physical and wet chemistry tests (e.g., titration, pH, viscosity, acid/sap value, density, LOD, refractive index)
-
Operate laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, FTIR) and resolve issues with methods or equipment
-
Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation: notebooks, assay reports, and logbooks
-
Assure calibration, standardization, and cGMP compliance activities in the lab
-
Support environmental and validation sample testing

Participate in the continuous improvement of chemical analysis procedures
What We’re Looking For:
-
Associate Chemist I:
-
Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Analytical Chemistry or related science
-
6 months to 1 year of chemical lab experience in a GMP environment
-
Associate Chemist II:
-
Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Analytical Chemistry or related science
-
1–2 years of chemical lab experience in a GMP environment
-
Working knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation
-
Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, LIMS, and TrackWise systems
-
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
-
Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
-
Color vision required; must meet all physical demands of a lab environment

- Required Skills

• Possess a thorough understanding of laboratory safety requirements and the MSDS system.
• Possess a thorough understanding of chemical test methods and chemical instrumentation, preferably some experience in combination of HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, and FTIR, or intermediate wet chemistry techniques.
• Possess effective interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills.
• Possess fluency in written and spoken English.
• Possess the ability to use personal computers for word processing and data analysis
• Familiarity with LIMS and TrackWise
• Possess the ability to work on many tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Possess the ability of decision making with good judgment
