Utility Service Technician – Position Details:

• Connecting and disconnecting electric, gas, and water meters for residential and commercial customers.
• Performing service disconnections for non-payment.
• Hands-on work with electric meters and customer electrical service panels.
• Physical labor is required, as some gas and water meter valves can be difficult to operate.
• The employee must be on call one week each month, and call-outs are frequent.
• Because of on-call requirements, candidates should live in or very near Morgan City.
