We’re seeking a Service and Support Technician to play a key role in our day-to-day operations. This position ensures our equipment is maintained to the highest standards and that our teams receive the support they need to succeed. You’ll work with a variety of tools, equipment, and technology—while helping keep our operations running smoothly and safely.


What You’ll Do

Shop Service Responsibilities

  • Assemble, maintain, test, and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
  • Support field service technicians with troubleshooting and parts preparation.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues.
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory documentation.
  • Assist with parts identification, ordering, and inventory control.
  • Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies and safety procedures.
  • Provide technical assistance and exceptional customer support.
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
  • Oversee fleet truck management.

Additional Support Duties

  • Assist with hot-shot equipment needs.
  • Perform inventory on unmanned jobsites.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience as a shop or industrial service technician (mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Experience with heavy equipment, oilfield tools, or industrial machinery is an asset.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, service tracking software).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • Forklift and/or overhead crane certification is an asset (training is available).

Schedule & Benefits

  • Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
  • Paid Federal Holiday time
  • 2 weeks of PTO (40 hours paid)
  • After-hours calls (evenings/weekends) as needed
  • Occasional field visits for inventory management and preventive maintenance support
