We’re seeking a Service and Support Technician to play a key role in our day-to-day operations. This position ensures our equipment is maintained to the highest standards and that our teams receive the support they need to succeed. You’ll work with a variety of tools, equipment, and technology—while helping keep our operations running smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do
Shop Service Responsibilities
- Assemble, maintain, test, and repair mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
- Support field service technicians with troubleshooting and parts preparation.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory documentation.
- Assist with parts identification, ordering, and inventory control.
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies and safety procedures.
- Provide technical assistance and exceptional customer support.
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
- Oversee fleet truck management.
Additional Support Duties
- Assist with hot-shot equipment needs.
- Perform inventory on unmanned jobsites.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years of experience as a shop or industrial service technician (mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Experience with heavy equipment, oilfield tools, or industrial machinery is an asset.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, service tracking software).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract.
- Forklift and/or overhead crane certification is an asset (training is available).
Schedule & Benefits
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Paid Federal Holiday time
- 2 weeks of PTO (40 hours paid)
- After-hours calls (evenings/weekends) as needed
- Occasional field visits for inventory management and preventive maintenance support
