Genesis Custom Blending, a premier provider of customized chemical blending is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Batch Technician to join our Midland, Texas team. This position plays a critical role in our production operations, requiring accuracy, safety awareness, and a strong commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities
· Accurately complete batch tickets, fill tickets, work instructions, filling checklists, and bulk bills of material to support inventory management and accounting systems.
· Safely operate a forklift to stage, move, and organize raw materials and finished products.
· Monitor and adjust batch parameters, including temperature and pH, throughout the blending process.
· Load and unload bulk tanker trucks, including completion of operational checklists and calculation of gross, net, and tare weights and volumes.
· Operate truck scales, tanker closures, grounding devices, valves, pumps, and vehicle security systems in a safe and compliant manner.
· Calculate, weigh, and verify raw materials and finished product containers using scales, load cells, and automated or manual filling systems.
· Partner with the Laboratory team to identify, verify, and correct product quality variances.
· Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of tanks, lines, and processing equipment before and after production runs.
· Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment and promptly report issues or concerns to the supervisor.
· Perform routine housekeeping duties throughout the yard and production areas.
· Assist with inventory counts and yard audits as needed.
Qualifications
· Prior experience in a production, blending, or manufacturing environment preferred.
· Forklift operation experience and the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
· Basic math skills and the ability to calculate weights, volumes, and measurements.
· Experience loading and unloading bulk tanker trucks preferred.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and peers.
